Absolutely! Custom orders are our favourite way to make something truly special for you. Simply visit our "Request a Custom Crochet Piece" page and fill in the form with your idea, colours, size, and any inspiration photos.

This depends on the size and complexity of your request, as well as current orders in our queue. Most custom pieces take between 2–6 weeks to complete. We'll confirm your estimated time when sending your quote.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit (usually 50%) is required to secure your custom slot. Work will only begin once the deposit is received.

Small adjustments (like colour or minor details) may be possible early on, but once materials are purchased or crocheting has begun, we cannot make major design changes.

Custom orders are made specifically for you and cannot be canceled or refunded once production starts. Please make sure you're happy with your quote and design before confirming.

Yes! We love keeping you in the loop. You'll receive updates and photos during production if you've opted in for them.

We can often design inspired versions of crochet pieces you've seen online, but we don't copy other artists' patterns exactly unless they are public or provided by you for personal use.

Yes, depending on availability and lead time. Please include "bulk" in your request form if you're ordering for events, gifts, or stores.

We ship nationwide across South Africa using The Courier Guy, a trusted courier service.

Delivery fees depend on your location and parcel size. The exact amount will appear at checkout or be included in your custom quote.

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery usually takes 2–5 business days depending on your area. Remote regions may take longer.

You'll receive an email or WhatsApp message with your Courier Guy tracking number once your parcel is on its way.

Not yet — we currently deliver only within South Africa.

Once a parcel leaves our studio, it's under courier responsibility. In line with ECTA Section 46(1), risk transfers to you upon dispatch. You can contact The Courier Guy directly with your tracking number to open a claim. Optional courier insurance is available upon request before checkout.

Yes — every piece is 100% handmade with care in South Africa. No factory production here, ever.

We do our best to represent colours accurately, but lighting, yarn dye lots, and screens may cause slight variations. Each handmade piece is unique.

Of course! For ready-made pieces, check what's available in our shop. For custom requests, list your preferred colours or yarn in the custom order form.

Yes! Our digital crochet patterns are available under the "Patterns" section. They're delivered instantly after payment via download link or email.

Our patterns are for personal use only. You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute them commercially without written permission.

In most cases, yes — we can recreate a similar one. Just reach out via our Contact page or use the Custom Order Form.

No. Due to hygiene and safety reasons, as well as the handcrafted nature of our work, all sales are final. Each product description and checkout clearly states our no-return policy.

We don't offer refunds or exchanges for changes of mind, incorrect size or colour choices, or courier delays.

In the rare case of a defect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and details at hello@vixstix.co.za. We'll review your case individually.

No. Digital files (PDF patterns) cannot be refunded or exchanged once sent.

No — all payments are handled securely by trusted payment gateways. We never see or store your card information.

Only what's necessary: your name, contact info, and delivery address. This is used purely to process your order and provide updates.

Only with service providers who help fulfill your order (e.g., Courier Guy, payment processor). We do not sell or distribute personal data.
